Rob and I are official. Last night he asked me to be his girlfriend. I'm extremely happy. He told me he's wanted this for so long, he was just scared. A lot of times I feel bad because I'm so much more experienced in the opposite sex than he is. I've done things I'm not proud of, and I'm probably more experienced than I'd like to be. But now it's just so different being with a shy guy. I think he'll get better though. I know he's worth the wait, there's no one else I'd rather be with. I'M JUST SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY!
If only I could get this damn iOS 5 software to fucking download on my phone, I'd be set right now. I'm workin on it.
Dear Apple, you suck.
Love, Me.

I am so bored. Sitting in study hall and this teacher is such a bitch. We have to sit in assigned seats and no talking. Rob is in here and but since we can't sit together, we're texting from across the room lol. I don't know if I've ever been more bored. So since I have a full 40 minutes and absolutely nothing to do with it, I'll recap my weekend. It actually was quite eventful.
My last post ended right before the dance. So before the dance I went to Rob's house and drank with a few people then we headed downtown. My high school dances are nothing like the movies. You know, the ones where the boys stand on one side of the room, the girls stand on the other, they awkwardly stare at eachother and no one dances. HA. Our dances are grindfests. People are basically raped on the dance floor. Not literally. But close enough. Everyone is dripping sweat and dancing like strippers. It's extremely fun though. I didn't think Rob was used to that type of thing, since he was new here last year. It was his first dance at our school. He stayed with me the whole time.. I'm sure he was glad because honestly my dancing is pretty slut-like hahaha. Anyways it was super fun. Rob and I were both so tired afterwards we decided not to go out and party. We went back to his house instead, where I instantly fell asleep on the couch. He took me home around 1am. Sunday Rob and I went to the Steller game. I'm not really big on football games but I had such a good time just because I was with him. That night my friend Mike had people over to drink at his grandparents house because they're away for the week. Everyone was having a good time but then Rob started acting weird. He always gets like that when he drinks. He'll act all pissed off about nothing and actually start to get mean. By the end of the night I was so angry with him. My friend Bailey drove Rob's car back to his house with me. The whole ride he kept trying to apologize and act all depressed. I was still pissed. Then me and Bailey got picked up by a few people. We rode around with them for a little then went home. The next morning, Monday, we didn't have school. Rob texted me to work things out. He was already planning on forgiving him, but still the things he said were adorable. Basically how it ended was him saying that he's not gonna drink anymore because of the way it makes him and I mean too much for him to lose me over something like that. He came over and we hung out at my house literally for 10 hours. I actually found myself missing him when he left.
Now that brings me to today. Boring as shit. School is lame. This study hall is almost over though I think so I gotta go. Post back soon, hopefully this week.

SO Busy
The past week has been hectic. We found out this year's homecoming court two weeks ago and a lot of my senior friends were nominated. Kristen chose me to be one of her shadows. Shadows are basically the person's bitch. Each girl on court chooses two shadows. Our job is basically to make their banner for the pep rally, decorate their locker, make t-shirts with stupid phrases like "Kristen is my queen", and take pictures. So not fun. But I felt like it would be rude to say no.
Last night was the homecoming football game. All the shadows had to be on the sidelines with the court and their parents. At half time, they announced the queen. It was so predictable. I think I'm psychic. I guessed who the runner up AND the queen were gonna be. Anyways, I'm glad all that shit is over. It took up all my time.
Tonight is the homecoming dance downtown at the history center. Last year I always got so excited for dances I don't know why this year is different. I'm not excited at all. This year though, I'm drinking before I go and as I always say, everything's better when you're wasted. Homecoming is always semi-casual and it's not really a type of dance that you need a date for. Rob is driving me down with a few other people. We're not really getting pictures except a few for his mom. I'm in loveeeee with my dress. It's a sort of metallic purpley silver, strapless, short, and in the middle of the chest has some mirror/beading/gem things. I don't know what I'm doing afterwards, but hopefully partying somewhere.
Tomorrow I'm going to the Steeler game with Rob. I've never been to one before! It starts at 1 so we'll have to leave sometime in the morning.. that will make it a little difficult to party hard tonight. Of course I'll do it anyways though :)
Besides this weekend's events, nothing much else has been going on recently. I'm gonna try my best to post back again sometime next week!

Weekend Update
Eh this weekend went okay I guess.
Friday night was the usual. A bunch of people pre-gamed at this one kid's house before the football game. The theme for the game was to wear camo. I went allll out in my gear. I got drunk and had a super fun time at the game (as always). After the game we went back to the kid's house but there were only a few people there. Rob and I went to his house so he could get his car. We just drove around for a little. Then we both decided there was nothing to do and we were tired so he took me home.
Saturday I did absolutely nothing all day long. Then in the evening I went to the baseball game downtown with a few friends. Rob was already downtown because he went to the hockey game earlier, and I had an extra ticket so he met us at the field and came with us. Normally, the baseball games are pretty boring but we went last night because Steve Miller Band was playing afterwards. I love their music, but they really sucked live. Rob was going to come over after the game but we got into a stupid little argument. I told him he should just go home instead.
This morning Rob and I worked everything out though. The argument was so stupid, there's no need for me to explain. Today, Rob came over around 3:30 and he just left now. Haha so pretty much we just chilled at my house for four straight hours. It's impossible for me to have a bad time with him though.
So yeah, nothing really too interesting this weekend. Now I'm gonna go outside and smoke a cigarette and then the new season of Desperate Housewives starts at 9! I'm so excited!

Breaking Point
17th day of school... And I've reached my first breaking point of the many to come. I can't even call it stress because it is so much more than that. I've never felt like this in my life. My personality is a laid back type of person. I don't get worked up about many things, especially not school. I take things as they come, and I'm lazy. Right now, my massive to-do list grows more massive each day. Thank God I don't still have a job right now. I'm already juggling volleyball, school clubs, homecoming, PSAT's, graduation project, and my very challenging classes. Speaking of which, I have three hugggeeee tests in starting tomorrow. I say that they are "starting" tomorrow because they are all two-day tests. One entire period of testing is not enough, so my lovely teachers have to extend them twice as long. Love those guys. On top of that, I have some stupid ass fundraising shit to do. TWO different fundraisers. One for volleyball and one for my trip to Europe (I'll explain more on this trip in a later post!). And of course, on top of everything else, there's Rob. Although this is an awesome part of my life right now, it's still stressful. I forgot how tiring having a (sort of) boyfriend is. He asks me to hang out and it's like I won't let myself say no. I don't want to say no. I just want to spend time with him and skip every school related responsibility. My priorities have always been off. All I have to say for it is, Fun and I are too close of friends.
The worst part is instead of trying harder to get everything sorted out, I give up. When things get tough, I do nothing instead of everything. Instead of studying forever because I know a test will be hard, I don't study at all because I tell myself I'm going to fail it anyways. Tonight I've given up on studying and I've given up on grad project work. I really really wish I could change that about myself. I need to teach myself to be optimistic. If that's even possible. The glass is always half empty for me and I'm sick of it. It's the thing that scares me the most about myself. Am I just going to wake up one day and realize there's no point in trying at life, too? Most of the time I think of myself as a fairly sane person, but when this question creeps into my head I feel anything but. Then another thought finds its way into my brain. Death. Is death more peaceful than life? Less stressful? More rewarding? I want to know. Please don't get me wrong though. I am NOT suicidal in any way. AT ALL. I would never take my own life. However if I were to die this moment, by accident, would I be just as happy, if not happier? I'm a Catholic. My vision of heaven is one thing... peace. No floating over the world, watching. No reincarnation. Nothing crazy like that. I think of heaven not as a place, but a feeling. Complete and total stress-free peace. I don't want to die, but when my time comes, I'll welcome it.
Wow. I cannot believe what this post has done for me. I've gone from raging stressed out maniac, to peaceful thinker in a matter of fifteen minutes. I love you, inventor of blogging.
So although I just ranted about how I shouldn't give up, I do need some sleep. Tomorrow will be a new day. A fresh start is the best kind. Goodnight.

Getting There...
Things with Rob have been making a bit less progress than I'd like. But I still can't complain. We pretty much talked about our situation and it's completely in the open that we're on a more than friend status. Now I'm hearing that he told his best friend he thinks he'll make me his girlfriend soon.
I've made up my mind and I have one objection to dating Rob. He is definitely not physical enough for me. Once he improves his body language towards me, I would love to have him as my boyfriend. I don't know if it makes me sound easy for saying this, but we have been getting so close the past two weeks I expect to be more than just talking to him. I know I'm being stupid for not initiating anything but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it. I haven't felt this way towards someone in a long time and I don't want to rush into things and ruin it if he's not ready. I can't keep sitting around and waiting though. Next opportunity I have, I gotta do something.
This weekend would have been perfect. Both Friday night and Saturday, this kid had a small get-together. It was only about 6-10 people each night but Rob was there so he and I had a good time. They were the drinking kind of get-togethers. I didn't want to get completely retarded in front of him though. I guess I'm a lot more experienced at drinking than him. We both drank the same amount and he was completely hammered. I felt bad it had to have been embarrassing for him. There were a few times me and him were alone and I regret not making a move when I could. I was a little annoyed that he didn't. I know I shouldn't have been, though. It was just as much my fault as his. Especially Saturday night, I thought for sure something was going to happen. We both slept over there. He didn't even cuddle with me or anything. It was disappointing but I know I could have done something about it. Next time I will.
I've been complaining about all the things Rob hasn't done, but honestly he makes me so happy. My stomach still ties in knots when I'm with him... and it's a good thing. If I can just get our relationship to move to a physical level everything will truly be perfect. I've never had to make a first move on a guy before and I'm beyond scared. But I have a feeling he's even more scared than I am. According to most guys, they say they'll never object to a girl's touch. Hopefully that's true for this one.
Any opinions? What would you do if you were me?

Perfect
In my last post, I mentioned a guy I met, Rob.
Soo since meeting him, we've been texting all day every day. He's not really the flirting type at all. But apparently he's telling his friends me and him are "talking." I don't know if it's the same everywhere else, but around here talking basically means the two people like each other. More than friends. Rob and I haven't actually set a label on our relationship though. I can tell he's pretty shy with girls and he's not the type that would just straight up tell me what he thinks of me. I suck at figuring these things out. But I'm about 99% sure Rob and I are more than friends. He drops subtle hints.
The other day he asked me to dinner. Everything went way better than I expected. There was no awkwardness at all between us. Then he had the check split. That was confusing, considering if we were more than friends I would think he would have paid.
Since then though, he's been walking me to most of my classes in school and anytime we're around each other he doesn't leave my side. We have two classes together. He stays with me and we talk the entire time. He's been getting a little more flirty too.
After tonight, I really think Rob and I have something going on. He asked me to dinner again and when the waitress asked one check or two, he said put it on one and he paid for it. And he offered to drive me to school tomorrow.

It's hard to describe, but sometimes you just have a feeling that you can't quite put in words when someone is interested in you. I really hope I'm right. I like him sooo much and I can definitely see myself with him. He's not like other guys I've been with or I'm friends with. He's so nice to everyone and that's hard to find in a decent looking guy. Honestly, I think he's perfect for me. I feel like such a loser, but I can't help but wish he'll just give me a clear sign when I'm with him. Tell me he likes me, grab my hand, kiss me. I really want him to kiss me actually. I'm not used to shy guys, but I'm too shy myself to make first moves. Things are going great now, hopefully they'll only get better from here.

Finally a New Face
Last night was my school's first home football game. Before the game I went to this kid's house with my friends and there were TONS of people there. It was ridiculous. We drank for a while and my friend introduced me to this guy Rob. He's a senior at my school but I didn't know him because he was new last year. Then we headed out to the game. (Of course we had DD's, gotta be safe.) Usually the football games are sooo boring and I just want to leave the whole time. But I had so much fun there last night. Between me being drunk, and my new cute friend Rob, I didn't want to leave. After the game we went to Quaker Steak. That's where everyone goes to hang out after the games. It's weird because most people don't actually go inside and eat. We all stand outside and talk and stuff like that. Rob was there. We talked for a while then later on when he was leaving he asked me for my number. He was so nice and fun all night and not bad on the eyes either. I wanted to get to know him more, so I gave it to him. I was surprised he texted me literally as soon as he left. Basically I've been talking to him since last night because he texted me again this morning as soon as he woke up. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, but I wouldn't mind a "more than friend" status in the future. Who knows. I was just glad to meet someone new. I'm sick of the same old people around this place.

Truce
The past few days have been ordinary for the most part. Wake up, school, volleyball, homework, sleep. Annddd repeat.
Right now I'm babysitting the little boys that live across the street from me. Sebastiano is 5 years old and Antonio is 2. I love them to death they're the most adorable kids ever. Every once in a while their mom will call me to come over while she goes out. I do enjoy it, plus it's an easy way to make a little cash. Especially now that I don't have a job during volleyball season.
Logan and I are cool now. I know I know I made it seem like such a big deal the other day, but it wasn't at all. I was just upset at the time. But when I realized how awkward things were when I was around her, I just wanted everything to be normal. I was the bigger person and I called her first. Basically she's just jealous that Ali and I are so close now. I knew that already, and I can understand it but I feel like she should have just talked to me about it in the first place. Oh well. It's over with now and I'm glad.
The boys are comatose right now by this Tom & Jerry DVD. It's pretty funny how into it they get actually. But I'm going to see if they want to play a game cause I'm bored lol.
Post back within the next few days.

so I realize this is my third post today and frankly I don't give a fuck.
honestly I don't even know what I wanna say besides I'm all fucked up and just want to talk. haha it's a little despressing I only have 2 followers but it's whatever. This night was alright. Couple friends came over and I got my drank on. Now they've all left and I'm aloneeeeee. Sucks. Don't know what I'll be doing tomorrow but I'll probably feel shitty. Hey it's worth it. I'll be up for a while the night is too young to sleeep yet ;)

It's Been a While..
So it's been uhhh 5 days since I last posted? I think. I know some people may not think that's a long time but I definitely do. Well, school has been horrible. I hate it already and I still have 174 more days left til next summer. This weekend has been okay so far though.
Friday night I slept over Ali's house and we got all shitty. Of course that was a lot of fun. Any time drunk is a good time :) I haven't laughed as hard as I did that night in a long time.
Last night kinda sucked. I had to work at this Rib Cook Off thing in South Park from 4-8. Basically I sat at a booth with my friend Connor and tried to get little kids to come do crafts. To do a craft though, they had to donate money for this lady with cancer. She's actually my friend's aunt. After I was done at this thing, I came home because my family is in from Michigan and they were at my house. Well, I guess you could call them my family. My uncle married this woman that had five kids - with 3 different guys. My uncle is her fourth marriage. Like obviously there's something wrong with her if she's had that many failed marriages... Her and my uncle do have one son together and he's 3 years old. He's the only one that's really my cousin.
Also since I last posted I got in a little fight with my friend Logan. She was my best friend all through middle school pretty much all up until I became friends with Ali last year. It's not that she had anything against Ali (or so I thought at the time) but she was just jealous and felt Ali was stealing me away. Which was kind of true, but I'm glad I became best best friends with Ali. She really cares about me and I feel truly comfortable around her. With Logan she would sometimes take joking around to the point where it wasn't funny anymore, but actually hurt. And when I became friends with Ali, I just couldn't take Logan anymore. Anything I say she has some rude remark in response. I can't say anything in front of her without her making fun of me for it. I'm sick of it. So recently we barely ever call each other to hang out and never talk about important things. It's fine with me because I have Ali. But the other day Logan REALLY pissed me off. I was at volleyball practice and my friend told me that Logan was talking to some senior girls and I guess they were talking about lunch and Logan named all the people that sit with us then said "Oh yeah and Gabrielle sits at the end with her weird friend."...meaning Ali. What makes me so angry about that is she thinks she's actually better than Ali. Ali has been better to me than any of my friends, especially Logan. So Logan texted me that night and asked what I was doing. I replied "Hanging out with my 'weird' friend. You know, the one I sit with at lunch." She sent me "well I do think Ali is weird.." and then continued with some apology bullshit. Fuck that. I can tell she didn't mean it. I'll tolerate her, but I definitely don't consider her my friend.
I know this post was long and boring, sorry. I think I'm gonna do a little quiz thing though in another post. They look fun :)

Ugh.
Today was my first day of school as a junior. Finally an upperclassman. I really don't have much to say though. I mean I've had 12 other first days of school in my lifetime so it was nothing new. Here's my schedule:
Academic English
AP U.S. History
Lunch
Spanish 3
Graphic Design
Gym/Study Hall
Academic Physics
The "Academic" classes mean they are more advanced than Applied classes but less advanced than AP classes. They're right in the middle. Most of my classes I think will just be okay. AP U.S. is definitely going to be my hardest and most difficult. I'm excited for graphic design. A huge part of my life is art. I love every part of it: drawing, painting, sculpting, anything. So I'm hoping I'll take a liking to computer generated art as well. After school I had volleyball practice from 3pm to 5pm. I already have a decent amount of homework and it's only the first day. School is already back to consuming my life...

Did That Really Just Happen?!
In my last post, I was looking for a party to go to last night. Well, I did find one but my night backfired. It was total chaos (and not the good kind). This is completely and 100% true, so don't think I'm making it up to seem more interesting or whatever.
The beginning of the evening I was texting everyone I knew trying to find something super fun to do for the last night of summer. Of course nothing was going on. My night was headed down the shitter. Then Lani invited me to come to our friend Ryan's house. I drove there and they all blazed. I don't do that so I just sat and talked. We chilled for a little then me, Lani, and Alex went to pick up my next door neighbor, Paige, and her boyfriend, Mike.
Where I live, all the highschool kids hang out at Sheetz. Yes, like the gas station. And yes, it is very lame. So we went to Sheetz. Ryan was telling us that he heard about a party at this kid Zach's house, who is in the grade below us. The original plan was that we were going to go to his party, steal the alcohol, take it back to my house and have our own party. I know, we're assholes.
I drove to Zach's house and everyone was hanging out by a bonfire back in an open area near the woods behind his house. Everyone there was already completely piss drunk. We all just hung out for a little and none of my friends or I had more than one beer before we saw headlights shining on us. A shady looking car was driving towards us. I started panicking a little and walked over to the edge of the woods. Then I heard Paige's boyfriend, Mike, yell that it's the police and I bolted through the woods as fast as I can. It was difficult because the brush was heavy and everyone started pushing me from behind. By this time, I'm in pretty much the back of the group because everyone has pushed past me. At this time I glanced back, and saw a man dressed in black. He was shining a flashlight on us and yelled, "There's no use running through the woods, kids". That made me run even faster. I decided to break off from the group and instead I ran to the left because that's where the street was. I had to get my car. I expected there to be more police cars on the street but there weren't any at all. I sprinted down Zach's neighbor's backyard and to my car. I hopped in and sped away. When I got to the main road, I saw a bunch of girls run across from the woods. On the way home I decided I had to tell my dad everything that happened. Not that I was drinking, but everything else. I was worried that the officer had gotten my license plate number. My dad was not mad at all. In fact, he kind of laughed it off which I did not find funny at all.
I was on the phone for two hours with about 6 different people. All of my friends were at home safe. I was told only three people got underages. Zach, a kid named Jason, and this girl from another school district that was there.
I'm still nervous that a cop is going to show up at my door at any minute. What if those kids rat me out? But then again, the police have no evidence I was drinking. I got away. I'll still be worrying for at least a week. I think by then it would be safe to say I'm in the clear.
What. A. Night.

Mr. Aldean, Marry Me
Jason Aldean is a completely amazing performer. Though he's the famous one, I believe his band deserves most of the glory. I forgot I was at a country concert at times because his band played very rock styled. Chris Young opened for him. He sounded good (and was gorgeous) but I really didn't know many of his songs at all, which made it a little boring to listen. The minute Jason came on though, I screamed my fucking head off. Actually, I didn't stop screaming the entire concert. I can't believe I even have a voice right now. The only minor issue with the concert last night - I was unfortunately one of the only sober people at the venue. When we first got there, of course everyone and their mother was intensely tailgating. Beer pong, corn hole, everything. The only thing I wanted was someone to hand me a fucking drink. I'm just a party kind of girl and I love it. I've never seen so many shitfaced people than I did last night. Kinda disgusting actually. But Jason Aldean was definitely worth it. I don't think any concert is gonna top that for me.
So tonight is basically going to be my last night of summer. Tomorrow night will be a school night and Monday morning I'll be back to the prison also known as high school. I always have said, if school started at 9 or 10am I would have absolutely no problem with it. I'd enjoy it. But I don't want to think about school right now when I still have one more night to party my ass off. One last drunken, wild, wonderful night of summer for me... I hope. If I make it through alive tonight, I'll post back tomorrow!

Good News, Bad News
First, I need to get this rage off my chest. This morning, like every morning for the past two weeks, I had volleyball practice. Our coach couldn't make it today so we ran our own practice. There's three captains on our varsity team, two of them are cool and I know I can talk to them if I need anything. But the third captain - another story. Corey is the most controlling bossy self-absorbed teammate I've ever had. I understand she's a captain and all but she totally abuses it. Every practice she's going off and yelling at everyone about something. Fucking annoying. I'm not the only one that notices. The entire team talks about how bitchy she is and how badly she needs called out on it. Maybe soon I'll have the courage to do it.. I hope.
On a much more interesting and happy note, I'M GOING TO THE JASON ALDEAN CONCERT TONIGHT! I'm so excited! For those of you who don't know him, he's a country singer. (I'll post a video at the end of this post.) My friend's, Ali's, dad got us tickets to go. She's bringing me and two other friends and her sister is bring three friends. Ali's dad doesn't want to drive down there (guess he's planning on getting hammered) so how are we getting there? By limo! I cannot wait. Ali's family has a lotttttt of money. I feel kinda bad because they do so much for me. She always gives me gas money when I drive her around and I'm only paying them $35 for tonight. I know the ticket costed more than that.
Ali is probably my best friend. I just became friends with her a few months ago but I love her to death and we're really close. It's kind of difficult sometimes because I have another group of friends I've known for many years. It's not that this group doesn't like Ali, they're just clique-y. They stay to themselves and don't let others in. They're so much different than Ali too. But they've been my friends for so long so of course I love them too. I find myself choosing between these friends and Ali a lot since I can't hang out with both at once. I can deal with it though because I need all these people in my life.
I would have more to write about, but I'm pressed for time right now. I have a hair appointment at noon and I have to go shower now. And of course get ready for Jason Aldean! I'll probably be getting home late tonight and I have a volleyball scrimmage tomorrow at 8:30am so I'll post all the details about the concert tomorrow.
If you don't know Jason Aldean here's a video.. Song is "Dirt Road Anthem."

My Very First Blog
Ah my first attempt at a successful post. Well, this whole idea of creating a blog occurred to me today...
A few days ago, I came across a silver Mustang convertible for sale in a driveway near my house. My first thought was that I had to have it. Mustangs had always been my favorite cars and this one is beautiful. I asked my dad. Of course, he shot the proposition down immediately. Today, I called the owner of the car and asked about it. I found out it was an automatic (Awesome- I'm not too swift with a stick) and it had just 43,000 miles on it. They were asking $9,000. Not bad at all if you ask me. But apparently to my father, it's out of the question. You're probably wondering how this blogging business comes into the picture. My friend was texting me at the time and we were thinking of ways to make cash fast to buy this gorgeous 'stang. Obviously, my first reaction was to search "how to make cash fast" in Google. I came across a page that talked about people blogging and making money from the ads. Sounded a little risky but creating a blog seemed like a fun thing to do as well. The article mentioned blogger.com as a free blogging site. I thought, "Why not?". Now that I see how cool blogging can be, I realize I don't want to junk up my page with ads. Screw the money, I'm blogging because I like it.
And that's my story. Interesting, huh? I'm not sure what I'm hoping to gain with this blog. A place to vent maybe? I've had diaries as a child but never one that people could read. As a teenager, so many things are going on in our lives and sometimes things we cannot talk about to friends or family. That's where this blog comes in, for me at least. Enjoy!
